Shape volunteer engagement initiatives at Distress Centre Calgary as a part-time Volunteer Program Coordinator. Coordinate recruitment and manage HR operations to support our mission-driven team. In this role, you will work in office 24 hours per week, primarily on weekdays, with occasional evenings.

Collaborating with the Director and People & Culture Partner, you will leverage your past experience in volunteer program coordination to create engaging and effective recruitment strategies that bolster community support. Key Responsibilities:

- Build volunteer involvement in under-represented departments
- Manage volunteer sourcing, onboarding, and role matching
- Recommend improvements to volunteer program processes




- Assist with the complete employee lifecycle in recruitment
- Maintain accurate volunteer and staff records and address concerns Requirements:
- Diploma in human resources or social sciences
- 2-4 years of experience in recruitment and administrative settings
- Proven volunteer program development experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
