As a Warehouse CSR, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing assistance, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Print and prepare delivery notes, invoices, shipping documents, pallet labels and box labels for outgoing orders.
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate and ready before drivers arrive.
- Coordinate morning and next-day orders with Shippers, drivers and the Shipping Supervisor.
- Review order lists to identify missing, changed or late-added orders.
- Communicate product shortages to Production and obtain expected completion times.
- Notify Sales of unavailable products, order discrepancies or required changes.
- Coordinate driver pickups and provide addresses, appointment numbers and required documents.
- Book delivery appointments for Save-On-Foods and frozen GFS orders.
- Ensure delivery notes and outbound documents are signed before drivers leave.
- Prepare customer-specific documents, including temperature sheets, tally sheets and invoices.
- Monitor product dates and ensure orders are picked according to FIFO requirements.
- Coordinate corrections for picking, labelling, inventory and product-date errors.
- Ensure products are assigned to the correct inventory location and cost centre.
- Prepare product lists for inventory moving between Rossdown and Versacold.
- Prepare inbound receiving sheets and coordinate incoming dry-goods deliveries.
- Assist Shippers with locating products and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain daily CHEP pallet records and update the CHEP online portal.
- Support the electronic proof-of-delivery system and assist drivers with its use.
- Provide proof-of-delivery documents to Finance when requested.
- Cross-train with the Sales Customer Service team to provide coverage when required.
- Perform other related warehouse customer service and administrative duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a customer service role within a warehouse / manufacturing setting preferred.
- Food Industry experience preferred.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal communication)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer systems and navigating multiple software applications (Microsoft office/SQL)
- Keyboarding
- Ability to handle high call volumes and work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $44,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
