At Lightmatter, we are looking for a dedicated engineer to tackle complex challenges in AI data center infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with a team to measure performance metrics and debug high-speed links. Your role will significantly impact the development of cutting-edge photonic technologies.
Key Responsibilities: - Run lab characterizations on high-speed optical/electrical hardware - Debug and validate performance of electro-optic links - Build models correlating electrical and optical measurements - Execute comprehensive link budget measurements - Automate tasks using instruments and scripts
Requirements: - PhD in EE, Photonics or Physics;
or MS +3 years of experience - Hands-on experience with 56G/112G serial links - Proficient in signal integrity fundamentals - Solid skills in VNA, scopes, and BERTs - Solid programming skills in Python or MATLAB
