Bridge Facility Services is currently seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer / Level 2 Building Operator for a full-time opportunity in Downtown Vancouver, starting as early as October 5th, 2026.

This position is based at a well-established and highly respected commercial property management firm in British Columbia. The role is intended to transition into a direct hire with the client after an initial period working with Bridge Facility Services.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Excluding BC statutory holidays
- Some flexibility required - shift times may be adjusted slightly based on site needs

Compensation:

- $32.50/hour
- 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily building checks and general maintenance
- Monitor HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems
- Respond to tenant requests and service calls
- Coordinate and provide access to contractors




- Complete minor repairs and general building upkeep
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently

Requirements:

- 4th Class Power Engineer (TSBC) certification or actively working toward it
- 2-5 Years previous experience in commercial building operations
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable and professional with a strong work ethic
- Ability to adapt to changing site needs and priorities
