About Tutor Doctor

Tutor Doctor provides personalized one-on-one tutoring in students' homes, at libraries, and online. We proudly serve families throughout Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Aldergrove, supporting students from elementary school through high school in a wide range of subjects.

Every student is carefully matched with a tutor based not only on academic needs, but also on personality and learning style, because we believe the right relationship is the foundation for success.

What You'll Do

- Provide one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and other academic areas based on your strengths.
- Develop engaging, personalized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs, learning style, and academic goals.
- Help students build understanding, confidence, organization, and effective study habits.
- Support students with homework, assignments, test preparation, and long-term academic success.




- Complete brief session reports after each lesson to keep families and the Tutor Doctor team informed of student progress.
- Encourage and motivate students while creating a positive, supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

- A genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Strong knowledge in one or more academic subject areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your teaching approach to individual learners.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset but not required.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to travel to students' homes or local libraries in Aldergrove.
- University students, recent graduates, certified teachers, and education professionals are all encouraged to apply.
