About Tutor Doctor

Tutor Doctor provides personalized one-on-one tutoring in students' homes, at libraries, and online. We serve families throughout Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Aldergrove, supporting students from elementary school through high school, university, and beyond in a wide range of subjects.

Every student is carefully matched with a tutor based not only on academic needs, but also on personality and learning style. This is because we believe the right relationship is the foundation for success.

What You'll Do

- Provide one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and other academic areas based on your strengths.
- Develop engaging, personalized learning plans that meet each student's unique needs and goals.
- Help students build understanding, confidence, organization, and effective study habits.
- Support students with homework, assignments, exam preparation, and long-term academic success.




- Communicate student progress with Tutor Doctor through brief session reports after each lesson.
- Encourage and motivate students while creating a positive, supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

- A passion for helping students learn and succeed.
- Strong knowledge in one or more academic subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your teaching style to different learners.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset but not required.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for travel within Mission.
- Current university students, recent graduates, certified teachers, and education professionals are all encouraged to apply.
