Permanent Job title: Accountant

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Our client: An established organization based in Vaughan, Ontario.

Principal tasks and responsibilities include:

Support full-cycle accounting activities.

Complete month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals and prepaids.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

Assist with financial statement preparation and monthly reporting.

Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations.

Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.

Assist with process improvements and other accounting initiatives as required.

Qualifications and pre-requisites:

Approximately 4-5+ years of relevant accounting experience.

Strong full-cycle accounting and month-end close experience.





Experience with journal entries, accruals, prepaids and reconciliations.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Experience working in a multi-entity environment is an asset.

Strong Excel and accounting/ERP systems experience.

CPA designation or active pursuit is an asset, but not required.

Spanish language skills are a strong asset.

Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
