We have been in business since 1979 and provide vehicle transport services across Canada and to and from the USA to auto manufacturers such as Ferrari, Rolls Royce and Maserati, snowbirds, movie shoots and individuals relocating or purchasing a vehicle to name a few.

Job Summary

This is a full time permanent position at our office in Etobicoke, Ontario.

As Accounting

Supervisor, you will be a key member of our team reporting to the owners. In this role you will work closely with all of our management team to deliver financial information on a timely basis. You will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Candidates must possess strong organizational and analytical skills and be an effective communicator. This individual will execute a broad range of accounting functions, provide critical support to our senior management team and contribute directly to our company’s continued growth and success.

Duties





- Ongoing general ledger maintenance and accurate financial records
- Monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- HST filing
- WSIB, EHT
- Annual year end closing and working with external accountants
- Supervision of Accounts receivable and payroll staff
- Processing of accounts payable and assisting with credit card reconciliations where necessary.
- Thorough understanding of Canadian payroll.
- Working closely with senior leadership team in providing financial information for key decision making

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years in an accounting staff or supervisor role.
- Must have expertise in Quickbooks Online
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Accounting
- Experience in the transportation Industry

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
