Simmonds Law is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a part-time contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on unpaid client invoices and assisting with the firm’s billing and accounts receivable processes.

About the Role
This is a part-time, hourly contract position requiring approximately 10 hours per week. Hours are flexible and work will be performed in-office at our 427 Gilmour Street location. Compensation is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
The role will involve communicating professionally with clients regarding outstanding balances, monitoring unpaid invoices, and supporting the firm in keeping accounts receivable records accurate and up to date.

- Professional and confident communication skills
- The ability to follow up respectfully and consistently on outstanding accounts
- Valuable judgment and discretion when dealing with confidential client and financial information
- Initiative and the ability to manage tasks independently
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or a related administrative role is an asset
As this position involves direct communication with clients regarding outstanding balances, a high degree of professionalism, discretion, tact, and initiative is essential.
