We are currently seeking an Application Solutions Architect with strong Guidewire expertise to join a large-scale transformation initiative within the property and casualty insurance sector.

In this role, you will play a key part in defining, designing, and evolving enterprise application solutions while ensuring alignment between business requirements, technology strategies, and architectural best practices.

? Your Role

As an Application Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

- Analyzing business needs and identifying the functional capabilities required to support strategic initiatives.
- Designing end-to-end application solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Identifying impacted systems, services, and applications while assessing dependencies, performance, security, and integration considerations.
- Defining technology directions and architectural recommendations for proposed solutions.
- Producing solution architecture deliverables and supporting documentation.
- Communicating and illustrating architectural concepts through diagrams, models, and documentation.
- Supporting delivery teams during detailed design and implementation activities.
- Developing transition, migration, coexistence, and decommissioning strategies.
- Ensuring alignment with organizational standards, governance frameworks, and architectural guidelines.
- Acting as a technical advisor and solution architecture expert for project teams.
- Contributing to API-first, event-driven, and microservices-based solution designs.




- Promoting software quality, maintainability, observability, and security best practices.
- Establishing and enforcing development best practices for Guidewire Cloud solutions.
- Mentoring developers and providing technical leadership on Guidewire-related initiatives.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, project managers, scrum masters, and development teams.

?️ Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
- Evaluate business and technical impacts of proposed solutions.
- Define integration strategies across enterprise systems and platforms.
- Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, and availability are addressed.
- Contribute to architecture reviews and technology decision-making processes.
- Support cloud-native and hybrid deployment architectures.
- Drive adherence to architectural standards and software engineering best practices.
- Resolve complex architecture challenges and escalate critical risks when appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary delivery teams in an Agile environment.

✅ Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a related architecture role.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the Guidewire platform.
- Proven experience leading solution architecture activities on large-scale technology projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in complex and matrixed organizational environments.




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation abilities.
- Experience with architecture frameworks and ArchiMate notation.
- Solid experience in application integration using APIs, web services, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud deployment models including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CaaS.
- Experience designing and supporting microservices architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
- Experience with Guidewire APIs and integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Gosu programming language and PCF configuration.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.

⭐ Nice to Have

- Experience with Guidewire Advanced Product Designer (APD).
- One or more Guidewire certifications (Associate, Specialist, or ACE).
- Experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.
- French language proficiency.
