As our team continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate Financial Advisor to work closely with our advisors in delivering exceptional client experiences and supporting all aspects of the wealth management process.

This role offers meaningful client exposure, portfolio management responsibilities, and opportunities for professional development.

What You Will Do

As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will work directly with advisors and play an integral role in the management of client relationships and investment portfolios.

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide exceptional service and proactive communication to clients.
- Prepare for client meetings through account analysis, portfolio reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
- Assist advisors in implementing investment and wealth management strategies.
- Support portfolio construction, trading, rebalancing and investment execution activities.
- Conduct investment research, portfolio analysis and market-related projects.
- Prepare client meeting materials, reports and presentation packages.
- Coordinate client service requests and ensure timely follow-up on client needs.
- Maintain accurate client records and workflows using internal systems.
- Collaborate with wealth planning specialists and other professional resources when appropriate.




- Assist with onboarding new client relationships and account transfers.
- Support business development initiatives, client events and referral opportunities.

Qualifications

Must Have

- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in the investment or wealth management industry.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), and Wealth Management Essentials (WME), or their current CIRO equivalents.
- Eligible for or currently registered as a CIRO Registered Representative (RR).
- Strong understanding of portfolio management, investment products and financial markets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Professional, client-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Preferred

- Experience within a CIRO-regulated wealth management firm.
- Experience supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- CFP, CIM, or other relevant industry designations.
- Experience with portfolio rebalancing or investment research.

Location & Schedule Waterloo, Ontario

Full-time, permanent position

Monday to Friday

Standard office hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
