HearCANADA Lethbridge is seeking a fixed-term (contract) part time Audiologist or Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner for our clinic based on Southgate Blvd South. This position will cover a short-term leave; candidates seeking full-time hours may be considered. The expected contract duration will be 2-3 months based on the start date. Hours of work would fall within regular clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm local time.
- Compensation range: $34.36 - $52.30 / hour based on experience and qualifications + 8% pay in lieu of paid time off and benefits based on the contract nature of the role.
What you will do:
- Support existing and current clients in their hearing journey by providing an assortment of audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
- Staying abreast of new trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technological advancements to make the most meaningful recommendations to clients
- Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
- Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
What we are looking for:
- A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Specialist (or other provincial equivalent) or Audiology program
- Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registration with your provincial governing body in good standing
- Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
- An excellent communicator who can establish a professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members
- Comfortability in making product and service recommendations to clients and providing patient-centric education to clients to ensure product adoption
- Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be a definite asset, though not required
