Mega City is hiring skilled and dependable automotive mechanics to support our growing service operation in the Niagara Region.

We are looking for a mix of:

- Full time automotive mechanics
- Part-time mechanics
- Overflow / on-demand technicians for busy periods
- Foreign-qualified mechanics who are already in Canada and are currently completing the Ontario licensing pathway

We welcome candidates who are:
- Ontario-licensed Automotive Service Technicians
- Ontario-licensed Truck and Coach Technicians
- Registered apprentices
- Provisional certificate holders
- Foreign-trained mechanics actively pursuing Ontario certification

What You’ll Do

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, engine, transmission, and drivability issues
- Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and replacements on a wide range of vehicles
- Complete oil changes, brakes, tires, suspension work, tune-ups, safety-related repairs, and general service work
- Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Identify required repairs and communicate findings clearly to management
- Maintain accurate repair notes and job records
- Follow shop safety procedures and keep work areas clean and organized
- Support workflow during peak periods and help maintain turnaround times
- Deliver quality workmanship with attention to detail and accountability

Depending on your experience and license class, work may include:

- Passenger cars
- SUVs
- Light trucks
- Vans
- Commercial fleet vehicles
- Trucks and coach vehicles, where applicable

What We’re Looking ForRequired
- Experience as an automotive mechanic, automotive service technician, or equivalent foreign-trained mechanic




- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently or with limited supervision
- Strong knowledge of general automotive systems and repair procedures
- Own basic tools, or willingness to work with required tools for the role
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred
- Ontario Automotive Service Technician (310S) license
- Ontario Truck and Coach Technician (310T) license
- Registered apprentice status
- Provisional Certificate of Qualification
- Foreign qualification plus active participation in the Ontario licensing/certification process
- Experience with diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and multi-point inspections
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence

- Registered under the proper Ontario apprenticeship or provisional pathway
