Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic dealership team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers requiring vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and qualified service experience. This role combines technical understanding with exceptional customer service skills to promote trust and satisfaction while supporting sales objectives.

Experience in dealership operations, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for automotive repair are highly valued.

Duties

- Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their vehicle concerns
- Listen carefully to customer descriptions of vehicle issues and accurately document symptoms and service needs
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repair orders, parts, and estimated timelines
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, upselling additional repairs or maintenance when appropriate
- Prepare and review repair estimates with customers, ensuring transparency and clarity
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Follow up with customers on vehicle status, ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process
- Maintain organized records of service orders, customer interactions,



and sales activities
- Assist in promoting dealership services, parts, and accessories to maximize revenue opportunities

Experience

- Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant automotive or mechanic experience is a strong plus
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems to effectively communicate repair needs and solutions
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle inquiries professionally
- Sales experience with a focus on upselling services, parts, or accessories to enhance customer value
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is advantageous
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently

Pay: $21.15-$28.00 per hour
