Advance Auto Care is seeking a full-time Journeymen Mechanic, to assist with the maintenance and repair of vehicles in our Shop.

In this position you will:

- Conduct routine services including diagnosing and completing repairs on customer vehicles.
- Conduct visual inspections.
- Work closely with the Parts Department and Service Consultants.
- Communicate effectively with Parts and Service Departments if parts need to be ordered.
- Estimate length of service or repair job for purposes of efficient scheduling.
- Correctly perform complicated repair sequences according to established procedures.
- Complete detailed work orders that outline the work to be done, parts required, and labour to be charged.
- Follow all provincial laws and regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Mechanic.
- Previous industry experience in a similar or equivalent role.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal background check.




- Able to work in a role that requires considerable lifting and physical activity.
- Provide a high level of customer service, with attention to detail and continuous customer-relationship improvement.
- Comfortable in the use of industry processes, computers, internet, cell phones, and scanners.

Hours will be from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Salary based on experience and industry standards. Advance Auto Care provided the following inclusive hiring information:
