About the Role

We're looking for a part-time Sales Associate to join our team in a hybrid capacity based out of Richmond, BC. This is a new business development role — your focus will be identifying and reaching out to prospective brand partners (indie beauty founders, established personal care brands, and companies exploring private label or custom manufacturing) and guiding them through their first steps with Elixive. You'll be the first knowledgeable voice a prospective client hears, someone who can speak to our formulation capabilities, private label options, and manufacturing process with confidence.

What You'll Do

- Proactively identify and reach out to prospective B2B clients (brand founders, personal care companies) who could benefit from our private label, custom formulation, or contract manufacturing services
- Qualify inbound inquiries and convert interest into scheduled discovery calls or meetings
- Clearly explain our product development process, stock formulas, private label options, and manufacturing capabilities to prospective clients
- Prepare and follow up on initial quotes and proposals for new prospects
- Maintain and update CRM records, tracking outreach, prospect status, and follow-up activity
- Coordinate with internal teams (formulation, production)



to ensure accurate information is provided to prospective clients during the sales process
- Track outreach activity and help identify which channels and messaging bring in the best-fit prospects
- Stay current on our product lines, stock formulas, and service offerings to speak knowledgeably with prospects

What We're Looking For
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or new-client outreach — ideally in a product-knowledge-heavy environment
- Comfort learning and confidently explaining product and process details to new contacts
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building rapport quickly
- Self-motivated with a genuine drive to generate and follow through on new leads
- Organized and comfortable managing a pipeline of prospects at different stages
- Familiarity with CRM tools and standard office software
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (mix of in-office and remote work)
- Prior experience or interest in cosmetics, skincare, hair care, or personal care products
