The current position is for 2 to 3 shifts a week, and must have wednedsay availability Must be customer-focused and solution-based.

Position Purpose

Provide personable, efficient service to customers and fulfill other tasks in a manner in accordance with Origin Bakery's values to facilitate a profitable business

Reports to: Store Manager/Front Supervisor, General Manager, and Owner

Responsibilities

- attend shifts as outlined in the Human Resources Manual
- complete tasks as outlined in the Front Manual




- maintain cleanliness and appearance of the retail section of the bakery
- ensure proper stock rotation, using the 'FIRST IN, FIRST OUT' system
- inform supervisors when inventory is low
- advise supervisors of customer complaints
- help with training of current front staff
- other reasonable duties as assigned

Position Requirements: (outside Origin's Employee Standards and Guidelines)

- comfortable with written and spoken English
- able to lift up to 25 kg without assistance; practical, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
- able to maintain good rapport with customers and coworkers
- positive attitude and willingness to learn

-food safe certification

-must hold an appropriate visa to work in Canada

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.25-$18.87 per hour
