We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending techniques. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced workplace.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Excellent cash handling skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions.
- Exceptional time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
