We are looking for a Structural Engineer - Building Engineering, ideally with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, to become part of our talented team at Egis. In this mid-level role, you will focus on the structural design and analysis of various building systems while collaborating with architects and multidisciplinary teams. Your involvement will cover the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Canadian codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare detailed engineering proposals and cost estimates • Coordinate with stakeholders for project approvals • Deliver engineering calculations and stamped drawings • Manage budgeting and resource allocation effectively • Conduct construction reviews and site inspections

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering • Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Alberta • At least 5 years of experience in structural design • Solid knowledge of building design codes • Familiarity with BIM and structural design software
