Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Business Analyst at QA Avenue.

The Business

Analyst will analyze business processes and requirements to support content, community, and product initiatives for the Quality Engineering audience. Daily tasks include gathering and documenting business needs from stakeholders, mapping workflows, and identifying opportunities to improve user experience and operational efficiency. The role involves creating explicit specifications for new features, tools, and resources, performing data-driven analysis on audience engagement, and preparing reports that inform strategic decisions.

The Business

Analyst will collaborate closely with content, marketing, and technology teams to ensure solutions align with QA Avenue’s mission and growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights.
- Proficiency in Business Analysis and translating stakeholder needs into clear,



actionable requirements.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Business Process mapping, optimization, and documentation.
- Ability to elicit, define, and manage Business Requirements for digital products or media initiatives.
- Familiarity with software development and Quality Engineering concepts (testing, QA, automation) is highly beneficial.
- Experience working in remote, distributed teams and using collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, project management platforms).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with basic data analysis tools (spreadsheets, dashboards, analytics platforms) to support decision-making.
