Part-Time / Contract

$20 CAD/hour + performance-based commission The Social Pantry is a Vancouver-based creative and marketing studio helping growing businesses build better brands, websites, and marketing.

We’re looking for a Business Development & Sales Associate to help us bring current opportunities through the door and build relationships that turn into business.

What you’ll be doing

- Research and identify potential clients and agency partners
- Reach out to businesses through LinkedIn, email, Instagram, and other channels
- Build and manage a growing sales pipeline
- Network with founders, business owners, and industry professionals
- Attend relevant Vancouver networking and business events
- Qualify leads and lead initial discovery conversations
- Identify opportunities for client work and ongoing agency partnerships
- Work closely with the Founder to move qualified opportunities forward

We’re looking for someone who is
- Naturally outgoing and comfortable starting conversations
- Confident, curious, and commercially minded




- Great at building genuine relationships and maintaining them with consistent follow-up
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Interested in sales, marketing, and growing businesses

Requirements

- Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, partnerships, or a related field, or currently pursuing studies in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be based in Vancouver, BC
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

1-2 years of experience in a creative/marketing agency, B2B sales, or partnerships is a plus. Compensation & Growth

$20 CAD/hour + performance-based commission
