WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team in Toronto on a

3-month contract (potential extention) , supporting the safe and timely transportation of passengers, finished goods and raw materials between our manufacturing, retail and distribution locations. This role requires a minimum valid Class D+ Driving Licence , strong attention to safety and the flexibility to support varying schedules, including overtime when required.

STRONG REQUIREMENT

Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience with a clean driving record and zero accidents. PAY RANGE The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25,00 to 28,00 CAD. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Safely transport passengers, finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants, retail and distribution locations. Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely transportation. Load, transport and safely deliver inventory to DECIEM locations.

Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist with the safe loading and unloading of items from vehicles. Work collaboratively with the delivery team to ensure items are correctly packed and delivered.

Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and exceptional service. Comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, including carrying out preventative maintenance as required.

Support warehouse duties as directed when not scheduled for driving. BUILDING GROWTH TO POWER GOOD

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

Valid Class D+ Driving Licence is required — this is the minimum licence requirement for the role. Clean driver’s abstract and zero accident record is required. Minimum 3 years of insurance history/proof of driving experience in a heavy commercial setting. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to safely lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs as required.
