Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and woodwork with precision and care. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring functional and aesthetically pleasing results that meet client specifications.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial installations, all while honing your craftsmanship and technical skills.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct and install cabinetry and wood fixtures.
- Measure spaces precisely to ensure custom cabinetry fits seamlessly within designated areas.
- Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood components.
- Install cabinets, countertops, shelving, and other woodworking elements in accordance with project plans and safety standards.
- Perform related construction tasks such as drywall installation, flooring setup, tile laying, caulking, rebar installation, roofing prep, siding work, plumbing rough-ins, electrical wiring, and concrete forming as needed.




- Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to ensure craftsmanship meets high standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining a secure work environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinet making with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and construction estimating software is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction processes including drywall installation, masonry (rebar installation), flooring installation, tile laying, siding application, roofing prep, plumbing rough-ins, electrical experience, and general handyman skills.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid experience in construction painting and restoration projects is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills; safety-conscious mindset is essential.
