Cabinet Sprayer / Lacquer Finish Specialist

$25–$35/hour | Full-Time | Calgary, AB

Smart Painting Colours is hiring an experienced Cabinet Sprayer / Lacquer Finish Specialist to join our team.

We’re looking for someone with professional experience producing high-quality finishes on cabinets, millwork, railings, furniture and other wood surfaces.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare, sand and clean cabinetry and wood surfaces
- Apply primers, lacquers and qualified cabinet coatings
- Spray cabinet doors, drawer fronts, millwork, railings and furniture
- Set up and operate professional spray equipment
- Identify and correct runs, orange peel, dry spray and other finish defects
- Maintain a clean and organized spray setting
- Inspect finished work to ensure consistent quality
- Clean and maintain spray equipment

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of professional spray-finishing experience preferred
- Cabinet,



millwork or furniture spraying experience
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and sanding
- Experience with lacquer and professional cabinet coating systems
- Ability to produce smooth, consistent, high-quality finishes
- Reliable, detail-oriented and takes pride in their craftsmanship

Experience with Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series, Kem Aqua, Renner 2K or similar systems is an asset.

Compensation

$25–$35/hour based on experience and demonstrated skill.
