You will be the crucial link between the office and the shop floor—ensuring that every cabinet box, hardware constraint, and joinery detail is fully engineered, optimized, and ready for manufacturing before it ever hits the machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Drawing Translation: Interpret architectural blueprints, interior design submittals, and PDF sketches, rebuilding them accurately inside Mozaik.
- Production Detailing: Configure construction methods (blind dados, dowels, pocket screws), hardware placement, and material parameters within Mozaik.
- Shop Package Generation: Produce fully dimensioned assembly drawings, floor plans, elevations, clear cutlists, and hardware manifests for the production crew.
- Library Maintenance: Help manage and update our Mozaik material catalogs,



hardware libraries, and style settings to match our real-time shop inventory and capabilities.
- Problem Solving: Review incoming designs for structural feasibility and collaborate with the shop floor to resolve any manufacturing constraints early.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience drafting custom cabinetry (required).
- Software Mastery: Proficient in Mozaik software. Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading master architectural files is a solid asset.
- Shop/Woodworking Background: Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, joinery, and hardware systems (e.g., Blum, Grass). Direct experience working in a cabinet shop or as a cabinetmaker is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong spatial reasoning, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with both designers and makers.

Benefits & Compensation

- Salary: $28.00–$38.00 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (Day shift)
- Work Location: In-person at our shop located at 1167 Pettit Road, Burlington, ON. (Conveniently located near Highway 407 and the QEW for an easy commute).
