Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Perform store opening duties to ensure the shop is ready to receive customers the minute the doors open.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and enhance product visibility
- Offer exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining phone etiquette
- Support inventory management through stock replenishment and accurate product labeling




- Demonstrate product awareness by pointing out local products or in-house-made items to #SupportLocal

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
- Ability to find tasks to be completed when/if there are lulls in the shift.
- Excellent organizational skills to keep the workspace tidy and well-stocked
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
