The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students and the Waldorf community. This role involves working 2 during after-school hours or evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain school grounds by picking up litter and sweeping outdoor areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the school administration
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Positive communication skills
- Must be able to pass a CRC and vulnerable persons check
