Schedule

We're looking for a Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our team on a consistent part-time schedule:

- Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Alternating Fridays: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Start date: As soon as possible Contract length: Minimum 12 months, with the possibility of extension depending on the timing of the team member's return and practice needs.

This position is an existing vacancy created by a maternity leave.

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, positive, and detail-oriented Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our clinical team while one of our team members is on maternity leave.

Your Role As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and the rest of our clinical team to provide efficient, comfortable, and high-quality care to our patients.

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing operatories, instruments,



materials, and equipment before procedures
- Anticipating the needs of the dentist throughout treatment
- Taking and processing digital dental radiographs in accordance with applicable requirements
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical information using Dentrix
- Supporting digital dental workflows
- Assisting with CEREC and digital restorative workflows where applicable
- Following current infection prevention and control protocols
- Maintaining clean, organized, properly stocked, and fully prepared treatment rooms
- Assisting with instrument processing and sterilization as required
- Providing patients with clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions
- Helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their appointments
- Supporting efficient patient flow and communication between the clinical and administrative teams
- Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

What We're Looking For

Required

- Graduate of a recognized Dental Assisting program
- Certified Dental Assistant Level II qualifications appropriate for intra-oral duties
- NDAEB certification, where required for Level II duties
- HARP-approved qualification for dental radiography
- Current CPR certification
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

Preferred

- 2+ years of dental assisting experience
- Experience using Dentrix
- CEREC experience
- Experience with digital dentistry and intraoral scanning
- Experience assisting with restorative and cosmetic dentistry
- Experience assisting with endodontic procedures
- Experience with implants, oral surgery, or other advanced procedures

Occasional additional hours may be available by mutual agreement.
