We are seeking experienced Truck Drivers with clean driver abstract (2 Demerits or Less), and ability to be insured under our Company guidelines (3 Years of Aggregate Hauling Experience).
We are a well known and respected construction company with work in and around the Edmonton area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregate, gravel and other related goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy vehicles in compliance with all regulations.
Insurance pre-qualification and in-house safety orientation must be completed prior to commencing work.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and / or equipment while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients,
and other team members regarding any issues that arise during daily schedule.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driving license (CDL).
- Familiarity with DOT inspection procedures and regulations.
- Ability to speak, read and understand English and use of online Safety Program app.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols related to aggregate, gravel and mixed material hauling for site prep and construction.
