Se7en System Inc. is a Winnipeg-based trucking and freight company. We are family-run, so you talk directly to dispatch and ownership no layers, no runaround. We are looking for solo owner operators to run US long haul freight with us.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and cargo securement to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and freight details for compliance and reporting purposes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition
- Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling, heavy equipment operation,
and road safety to prevent accidents or damages
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or related fields
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification is a plus
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and safe operations
- Physical ability to load/unload freight using forklifts or manual handling when necessary
