Tłı̨chÇ« Retail Operations (TRO) is 100% Indigenous owned by the Tłı̨chÇ« Investment Corporation (TIC) and has 100% ownership of three retail stores and motels. TRO also operates a petroleum, oil, and lubricant (POL) division (community fuel delivery/gas station) in each of the Tłı̨chÇ« communities of Whatì, Gamètì, and Wekweètì, NT.
We’re currently recruiting for a Class 3 Fuel Truck Driver located in Gamètì, NT. This position operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule, running from now until mid-June, and restarting in mid-September.
Reporting to the Community Operations Manager, the Fuel Truck Driver will be responsible for providing fuel services for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive a Fuel Truck
- Deliver and handle fuel with care and in compliance with safety standards
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and perform basic maintenance
- Maintain fuel truck and equipment to ensure top safety performance
• Keep accurate logs and records of all fuel deliveries
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License
- Experience required operating a fuel and/or water truck
- Strong safety awareness and a dependable work ethic
- Professional and respectful attitude with good customer service skills
- Fluency in Tłı̨chÇ« is an asset
• Fluency in English is required
