Cleaner/Dishwasher:

Cleaner Responsibilities and Duties:

- Cleaning of the Facility – production, warehouse, and office area
- Cleaning of Washrooms
- Replenishing of stocks (toilet paper, hand towels etc)
- Cleaning of floors (sweep, vacuum, mop)
- Cleaning of common areas such as the employee lunch rooms and locker rooms
- Operating an industrial cardboard compactor
- Full cleaning and sanitation of the Food Assembly Rooms
- Removal of garbage and use of the garbage compactor

Dishwasher Responsibilities and Duties:

- Loading, running, and unloading the dish machine.
- Keeping the dish machine clean and reporting any functional or mechanical problems immediately
- Monitoring dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
- Washing and storing all tableware and kitchenware
- Keeping dish room and general kitchen clean and organized
- Maintaining adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
- Handling tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
- Maintaining adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
- Cleaning food preparation and production areas as required.
- Ordering and inventory of ware wash chemicals and equipment
- Train and oversee temps that will be working on a daily basis in the dish area.
- Must be willing to maintain the work area for the ware-wash.

Required Skills:





- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to work in and out of a cold environment
- Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks (up to 50 lbs.) many times per shift
- Must possess physical ability to perform all cleaning/ janitorial tasks
- Must have the ability to perform outlined tasks with minimum supervision
- Must be self-motivated
