FORT MCMURRAY CATHOLIC SCHOOLS is accepting applications for full-time evening shift cleaner at Elsie Yanik S chool .

Job Overview: Reporting to the Coordinator of Custodial Services, the Cleaner performs cleaning and general maintenance of school interior/exterior, in accordance with established standards; performs daily routine security and safety checks; and performs other duties as assigned – details as per .

Duties and Responsibilities:

- General cleaning of assigned building
- Clean cafeteria, lunch room, storage areas, utility service areas, furnace rooms and boiler rooms
- Clean lighting fixtures and replace light bulbs
- Collect and dispose of garbage/litter within building interior and exterior




- Perform minor maintenance not requiring a skilled tradesperson
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- One year related work experience
- Ability to work independently
- Valuable interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check. FMCSD will contact past and present employers for references. All FMCSD employees are expected to be computer literate; this includes fluency with e-mail, Internet and MS Office.
