Agabet Machine ltd. is looking for a CNC machine operator/machinist. We are a high production shop looking for good hearted person to join our friendly team. We have two opportunities on our night shift. The candidate’s duties include:
- Produce parts and machine according to manufacturing orders and work instructions
- Efficiently produce quality product, on time, that meets customer expectations
- Ensure parts meet or exceed written/drawn specifications during a complete production run
- Set machines efficiently to complete full cycles to fabricate small and large number of parts.
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determinate if the process has been completed properly.
- Operate two machines with no assistance.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
- Follow safety procedures performing all duties.
- Document all actions by completing a job sheet.
- Verify and record specifications and information on Quality Control (QC) Report
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment;
Requirements:
- At least 2 years proven experience as a CNC operator.
- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and valuable math skills.
- A keen eye for details and result-driven approach.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
