We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Plumber / Gas Fitter to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial plumbing and gas fitting projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing new plumbing and gas systems across diverse commercial settings.

Responsibilities

- Install new commercial plumbing systems including hydronic heating, chilled water, sanitary, storm and domestic in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Experience and knowledge installing different joint and piping materials, including cast iron, PVC/ABS, copper, and steel with mechanical grooved couplings
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and repair tasks
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and rigging equipment to complete accurate work
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing and gas systems to prevent issues before they arise
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met on time




- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with potentially hazardous materials such as gas lines or high-pressure water systems

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial plumbing, gas fitting, or related construction fields with a focus on mechanical systems
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and welding techniques necessary for pipe fabrication and repairs
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing or gas fitting applications
- Ability to read complex schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, and rigging equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during installations or repairs
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes or construction environments enhances adaptability in fast-paced projects
