About Pearlman Lindholm

Pearlman Lindholm is one of Victoria's most established full-service law firms, with a clear and ambitious plan: to become the leading law firm on Vancouver Island. We serve individuals, businesses, not-for-profits, and public sector clients across real estate, litigation, family law, corporate, and employment practice areas. Our approach is to deliver big-firm quality while remaining approachable, practical, and deeply rooted in the communities we serve.

We're growing with intention, investing in our people, our technology, and our processes, and we're looking for experienced professionals who want to be part of building something lasting. If you take pride in doing meticulous work, thrive in a collaborative team, and want your expertise to genuinely matter, this is the right firm.

The Role

You'll manage the full conveyancing lifecycle across residential resales, new construction, strata, and commercial real estate transactions. This is a senior, independent-contributor role. We expect you to run your files with confidence, communicate proactively with clients and counterparties, and bring a standard of accuracy and professionalism consistent with the firm's reputation.

You'll work closely with our real estate lawyers and support staff, and you'll be a central part of every transaction from first instruction through to title registration and reporting. You'll also be expected to adapt as the firm continues modernizing its systems, including AI-assisted tools and cloud-based platforms currently being rolled out across the practice.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing all aspects of residential and commercial conveyances from initial instruction through registration and client reporting

Preparing and reviewing purchase and sale agreements, transfer documents, mortgages, and related instruments

Coordinating with clients, realtors, lenders, notaries, and the Land Title Office throughout the file lifecycle

Handling new construction and strata conveyances, including phased developments and bare land strata transactions

Conducting title searches, reviewing title documentation, and identifying and resolving encumbrances or defects

Preparing trust reconciliations, statements of adjustments, and reporting letters with a high degree of accuracy

Working within and contributing to the firm's practice management systems, automation tools, and evolving technology platforms

Participating in a collaborative real estate team where communication, accountability, and shared standards are the norm

What You Bring

3 years of hands-on conveyancing experience in a BC law firm or notary office

Comprehensive knowledge of BC real estate law, the Land Title Act, and Property Transfer Tax requirements

Proven experience across residential resales, new construction, strata, and commercial transactions

Proficiency with E-Convey, GoVeyance, or equivalent BC conveyancing software

Comfort with technology and a genuine interest in learning current tools,

including AI‑assistant platforms and cloud‑based practice management systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to explain complex matters clearly to clients at every stage

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume, deadline-driven file load without sacrificing quality A collaborative, solutions-first mindset and a track record of working well within a team-oriented firm culture

Designation as a Law Clerk or Licensed Paralegal is an asset; equivalent demonstrated experience will be considered

Why Join Us

Be part of a firm actively executing a five-year growth strategy, with real investment in people, technology, and infrastructure

Competitive salary reflecting your experience, benchmarked to market, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Ongoing professional development supported by the firm, including training on emerging legal technologies and AI tools A firm culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and mutual accountability, where no one works in isolation

Flexible work arrangements and a genuine commitment to workload sustainability and staff wellness A collegial, respectful workplace where our values aren't just stated, they're demonstrated every day

Meaningful work across a full range of transaction types in one of BC's most active real estate markets A permanent, full-time role with long-term stability and clear opportunity to grow with the firm

We thank all applicants for their interest. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
