Duties
- Assist with feeding, watering, and caring for dairy cattle to promote their health and well-being
- Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, milking equipment, and feed dispensers
- Perform routine inspections of livestock and facilities to identify any health or safety issues
- Help with cleaning barns, milking parlors,
and equipment to maintain hygiene standards
- Support in herd management activities including tagging, record keeping, and movement of animal
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on farm machinery and equipment
- Experience or familiarity with farm machinery operation is highly desirable
- Good attention to detail for monitoring animal health and maintaining accurate records
- Willingness to learn recent skills related to dairy farming practices
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to teamwork and safety protocols
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
