In this role, you will apply your expertise in data entry, validation, error detection, format reconciliation, and data-quality control to create realistic evaluation tasks for AI systems. Your work will help assess how effectively AI agents identify and resolve the types of errors and inconsistencies that occur in real-world data workflows.

No prior AI experience is required. Your accuracy, process discipline, attention to detail, and practical data-validation expertise are what matter most.

Responsibilities

- Design and produce realistic evaluation tasks that simulate complex data entry, validation, and reconciliation workflows.
- Construct and curate large datasets using formats such as CSV, PDF, spreadsheets, and technical documents.
- Introduce realistic data-quality challenges, including malformed records, missing information, inconsistent formatting, and other discrepancies.
- Define the correct final state for each evaluation task, including the specific errors that must be identified and reconciled.
- Develop detailed grading rubrics containing 35+ criteria to evaluate AI-agent performance.
- Assess AI outputs based on accuracy, completeness, error detection, and proper reconciliation.
- Ensure evaluation tasks reflect the standards and complexity of regulated or audit-sensitive environments.
- Review data carefully for inconsistencies, silent truncations, formatting irregularities, and other subtle errors.
- Document task requirements, expected outcomes, and validation standards clearly.

- Collaborate asynchronously with project teams to refine evaluation materials and improve task quality.
- Provide precise written and verbal feedback throughout the task-development process.

Required Qualifications

- Professional experience in data entry, data validation, quality assurance, records processing, or a closely related field.
- Strong accuracy and error-detection skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, formatting issues, and data-quality problems.

- Exceptional attention to detail and process discipline.
- Ability to work with multiple file types, including spreadsheets, CSVs, PDFs, and business documents.
- Strong written English and ability to document complex requirements clearly.
- Ability to work independently and communicate proactively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in data entry, QA, or validation within regulated or audit-sensitive environments, such as healthcare claims, financial back-office operations, or legal operations.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and document high accuracy standards, including measurable error rates and quality outcomes.
- Experience identifying silent truncations, malformed records, formatting irregularities, and data inconsistencies across different file types.
- Experience working on projects where data accuracy, compliance,

or integrity has significant operational importance.
- Strong process-oriented approach to quality control and error prevention.
- Experience creating validation procedures, quality checklists, or structured evaluation criteria.
- Previous experience contributing to AI evaluation, data annotation, or benchmark projects is helpful but not required.
