Perio office in Etobicoke is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join their team every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and looking to add one more day within the next few months.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Experienced Dental Receptionist, min 4-5 years

- Experience working with Dentrix would be definitely preferred

- Must have excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal

- Have experience working in a specialty office (preferably PERIO)

LOCATION: Etobicoke (Queensway & Royal York Rd)

HOURS: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays (arrive 8:45-5), adding one more day within the next few months.

COMPENSATION: ​$25-$30/hr

JOB OVERVIEW:

- Greet patients in a warm and welcoming manner

- Make a outstanding first impression ideally creating long term loyal patient relationships

- Schedule/confirm patient appointments by telephone and in person





- Send confirmation of appointments via email and telephone and make follow-up calls/emails

- Provide patients with information regarding the dental office and direct calls appropriately

- Prepare and submit predeterminations from treatment plans

- Verify procedures completed, collect payments, and submit insurance claims electronically

- Receive and distribute mail, enter and scan payments and referral documents

- Accurately maintain charts and patient records
