We are currently hiring DevOps Specialists to support the Government of Alberta's Digital Design and Delivery Division on service innovation, program review, and digital transformation initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced DevOps professionals who are comfortable working in cross-functional Agile product teams and supporting modern digital services from development through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation for deployments, maintenance, and operational processes

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment templates, and reusable infrastructure patterns
- Manage production environments, configuration, credentials, maintenance, and releases
- Support database upgrades, migrations, backups, and recoveries
- Automate development and testing environment setup
- Implement monitoring, telemetry, and observability solutions
- Support integration testing, security scans, system testing, performance testing, and load testing




- Support frequent releases, including Alpha and Beta deployments
- Work closely with Product Owners, developers, designers, and other cross-functional team members
- Identify and eliminate manual processes through automation and AI-enabled solutions
- Support multiple digital transformation projects simultaneously

We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in:

- DevOps and production operations
- CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Infrastructure/workplace automation
- Cloud or modern digital environments
- Monitoring, logging, telemetry, and observability
- Database operations and migrations
- Security, integration, performance, and load-testing support
- Agile/Scrum product delivery environments
- Scripting and automation
- Supporting highly available production applications
