What's in it for you?

Being a part of the Curriculum team, you'll be creating and editing the Financial Literacy Curriculum that will be used at schools across the country. You’ll be researching topics of Financial Literacy while ensuring that our curriculum presents information in a way that is accessible and conducive to learning at a high-school and university level. By being a part of the PennyDrops Curriculum team you'll have the freedom to explore financial topics that genuinely interest you, while collaborating with a cross-functional team to bring the curriculum to life.

Role overview:

We're looking for a Director of Curriculum to help create and improve Pennydrops' Financial Literacy curriculum. You'll not only be researching and creating curriculum, but adapting it for various mediums such as workbooks, presentations, and digital consumption.

What you will do:





- Content & Development: Conducting research on familiar and emerging financial literacy topics (e.g., cryptocurrency, AI in finance)

- Cross-team Collaboration: Working with peers, providing constructive feedback on curriculum content and leading brainstorming sessions to generate current ideas and approaches.

- Brand Strategy: Ensure curriculum content aligns with PennyDrops' mission and educational standards, setting the overall vision and learning objectives for the Financial Literacy Curriculum

Qualifications we look for:

- Must be a current Canadian university student

- Language Skills: Proficiency in French is an asset, but not required.

- Research Skills: Exceptional research and written communication skills, tailored to the chosen specialization.

- Relevant experience: Past experience in education is an asset.

- Curiosity: A desire to learn and teach is vital.

Role details:

- 8-10 hours of work per week is expected

- All work is remote, save for a few in person events throughout the year

- You will work with fellow university students across the country, in teams ranging from 4-12 people

- Opportunities for awards, in-person experiences, recognition, and post-university jobs are available
