What's in it for you?

Being a part of the Growth team, you'll lead the outreach and partnership side of PennyDrops. By being a part of the PennyDrops growth team you’ll have room to research and communicate with potential partners at both a local and national level. You’ll work on areas that excite you most whether that's pitching and outreach, partnership communications, or brand management.

Role overview:

What you will do:

- Partnership Identification: Research and identify potential avenues for both local and national-level partnerships and sponsorships.

- Outreach & Pitching: Develop and deliver compelling pitches to prospective partners and sponsors, while emphasizing the value of collaborating with PennyDrops.

- Project Oversight: Manage the planning and execution of new growth projects from conception to completion.

- Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with external partners and sponsors to support PennyDrops’ continued growth.

- Growth Initiatives: Contribute to growth strategy planning and lead partnerships.

Qualifications we look for:

- Must be a current Canadian university student

- Any degree welcome, with strong interest in finance, accounting, economics or business.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to confidently communicate with potential partners and sponsors.

- Experience: Past experience in outreach, sales, or business development is a robust asset.

- Strategic Thinking: ability to identify opportunities, think creatively and contribute to long-term organizational growth.

- Relationship Building: strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.

- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple prospects and projects simultaneously.

- Language Skills: Proficiency in French is an asset, but not required.

- Curiosity: A desire to learn and teach is vital.

Role details:

- 8-10 hours of work per week is expected

- All work is remote, save for a few in person events throughout the year

- You will work with fellow university students across the country, in teams ranging from 4-12 people

- Opportunities for awards, in-person experiences, recognition, and post-university jobs are available
