Duties
- Thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods
- Maintain a sanitized and organized dishwashing station to promote efficiency and safety
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring all items are properly stored and readily available for cooking and serving
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment
- Dispose of waste responsibly and keep the work area free of clutter to promote a safe workspace
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service hours
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and sanitation standards in a commercial setting is advantageous
- Experience with food service operations or hotel housekeeping can be beneficial but is not mandatory
