We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dump Truck Driver with experience operating automatic transmission trucks to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate automatic dump trucks safely and efficiently across designated routes and job sites, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load, unload, and secure freight or materials, utilizing your skills in heavy equipment operation to handle various types of cargo.
- Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after shifts, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring proper functioning of all systems.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or maintenance as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition.
- Assist with forklift operations when necessary to move materials within the worksite or storage areas.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, cargo details, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding delivery schedules, safety concerns, or operational updates.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating automatic dump trucks in a commercial
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on heavy vehicles.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols related to trucking operations.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-mindedness, and excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as loading/unloading freight and inspecting equipment regularly.
