JamFit Energy Studio is looking for a warm, energetic, and experienced Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to lead our Baby Jammers program at our Manotick location.

Baby Jammers is a fun and welcoming parent-and-baby play group designed to support early childhood development through movement, music, play, and social interaction. The program gives babies an prospect to explore and develop age-appropriate skills while parents connect with their little ones and other families.

About the Role The ECE will create and lead engaging sessions that encourage babies to explore movement, sensory activities, music, social interaction, and age-appropriate developmental play.

This is a great opportunity for an ECE who enjoys working with infants, connecting with parents, and creating a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead weekly Baby Jammers parent-and-baby sessions
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities focused on movement, sensory play, music, and early development
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for babies and their parents/caregivers
- Interact positively with children while encouraging exploration and social development
- Communicate with parents and provide guidance on activities when appropriate
- Set up and tidy activity areas before and after sessions
- Ensure all activities and equipment are safe and age-appropriate
- Help create a fun and community-focused experience for JamFit families

Qualifications




- ECE diploma/certification or relevant Early Childhood Education experience
- Experience working with infants and young children
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Warm, patient, energetic, and engaging personality
- Comfortable leading a group and interacting with parents/caregivers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
- Vulnerable Sector Check required

Format: Parent & baby play group

Hours: Part-time, with potential for additional hours/programs based on availability
