Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, hold a valid Early Childhood BC License be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere for all students, including those with disabilities.
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Maintain organized classroom materials and resources to support learning activities.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities with administrative tasks.




- Participate in ongoing career development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Experience

- A BC certificate in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Strong guiding qualities with the ability to inspire young learners.
- The ability to work cooperatively with the team.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
