Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in young children.
- Foster a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children.
- Support children with diverse needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care and attention.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following health and safety protocols diligently.
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and promote consistent caregiving practices.
- Observe and document each child's developmental milestones to inform ongoing planning and support.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, diapering or toileting, nap times, and transitions to ensure comfort and stability.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate caregiving while maintaining professionalism.
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective behavior management and engagement strategies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and team members.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or caregiving are preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
