Martech Electrical Systems Ltd. is currently looking for an experienced Electrical Chargehand to lead crews on commercial and multi-residence projects in the Fernie area.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervising and leading electrical crews on site
- Planing daily work, manpower, and material needs
- Ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to code
- Reading and coordinating drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Communicating with project managers, inspectors, and other trades
- Mentoring apprentices and journeymen
- Maintaining clean, organized, and professional job sites
Your Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician ticket (Red Seal preferred)
- Class B FSR certificate would be considered an asset
- Proven experience as an Electrical Chargehand
- Solid knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Ability to lead crews and keep jobs on track
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, safety focused, and professional leadership style
