Seasoned Engineering Manager who has:

- 5+ years managing software engineers/engineering teams

- Led teams of roughly 8+ engineers, ideally 8–15

- 10+ years total software engineering experience

- Strong early-stage or high-growth startup background

- Has hired, developed, performance-managed, and made tough people decisions

- Strong servant-leadership / people-management approach

- Comfortable managing senior engineers rather than being a hands-on IC

- Has operated successfully in a fast-moving, fully remote environment

- Strong ownership and bias toward shipping quickly

Strong Plus

Prior experience with:
- AI / ML / LLMs

- Conversational AI

- Voice AI / telephony

- Founder / early employee experience





- Turning individual AI experimentation into measurable engineering-team productivity

What They’ll Be Doing

- Manage and grow an 8–15 person engineering squad

- Own hiring, career development, performance management and headcount planning

- Partner with the broader engineering management team on department decisions

- Drive rapid, high-quality delivery and hold the team accountable for outcomes

- Help make the engineering organization AI-native

- Partner closely with Product, Delivery and other cross-functional teams

- Keep engineering focused on customer value and production outcomes
