Join a team of dedicated hospitality professionals at one of Toronto's best-kept secret wedding and event venues. From April to November we're busy hosting a variety of celebrations. We're looking for hospitality-inspired people to join our service team, to provide our guests with a night to remember. With a focus on local products with a story, The Henley Room at the Argonaut Rowing Club provides our clients and guests with a bar selection you won't find at any other event space in the city. The right candidate will have a passion for beer, wine, and cocktails (ideally all of the above) and will work with a team to execute events of up to 8 hours of bar service time. Wages start from $18/hour, plus gratuities. Responsibilities

- Setup and Takedown of events;
- Bar service of guests with events up to 200 people;
- Table service for up to 20 guests at one time with support staff;
- Working with a team to host and execute weddings, birthdays and other events;
- Lifting of up to 25lbs of weight;
- Standing for periods of 3-4 hours at a time;

Skills

- Basic cocktail, beer and wine knowledge;
- Smart Serve is Mandatory;
- Food handlers certificate is an asset;
- Table service experience an asset;
